We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). As a church plant striving to become a particular church with a plurality of ordained elders, we are currently receiving oversight and accountability from Covenant Presbyterian Church in Short Hills, NJ.
Pastor Sungho Lee is the organizing pastor of Good News Presbyterian. He first began attending Good News as a sophomore in college in 1998. He was ordained as a teaching elder (a pastor) in the PCA in October 2009 after graduating from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia). His task as an organizing pastor is to raise up qualified and godly officers (elders and deacons) who will be able to lead Christ’s sheep biblically. He is married to his lovely wife, Caroline, and has two amazing sons, Owen and Ben. Pastor Sungho loves coffee, camping, and college football (Go Blue!). These days he is enjoying the book Kingdom Prologue by M. G. Kline.
