Our goal in worship is to please God who is very zealous about his worship. We aim to order everything that we do with what He commands in the Bible. So every week we gather to hear His Word through the reading and the preaching; we desire to see His Word in the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper; we sing God’s Word joyfully with reverence and awe as we sing the Psalms and hymns in the Trinity Psalter-Hymnal; and we also pray God’s Word together.
Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will make His life-giving Word dwell in us richly. On the Lord’s Day, He meets with us in a special way and provides the grace necessary for our growth as disciples. We desire to be equipped to advance Christ’s Kingdom on earth. Join us as we seek to glorify and enjoy Him!
Some visitors are surprised by the presence of children in our worship. The Lord’s Day is a time of covenant renewal, and our children, too, are treasured members of our covenant community—Jesus welcomes them to come and see! For the young children who are learning to worship, we provide crayons, books, and other aids for worship.
